NPT Birmingham Workshop - a total success
Visitors to the NPT Birmingham event on Tuesday 26th November were allowed a closer look at the NPToolkit, additional services and software that can be used to measure and monitor patient experience.
- Mark Allen (BT) opened the workshop and gave a detailed demonstration on mobile health working and talked about patient experience in the community.
- Julia Holding (Programme Specialist Engagement & Consultation, West Midlands Strategic Health Authority) gave a informative view on where consultation and patient feedback are key within the NHS.
- Liz McArthur (Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust) outlined how Alder Hey is using patient experience feedback to drive service improvements.
- Valda Smits (Priority Research) demonstrated the NPT, and explained how Alder Hey’s patients were central to its development.
- Paul Meadows (Ridgian) discussed how patient experience information can be part of wider business intelligence analysis, including graphical performance monitoring dashboards.
Open questions from the floor concluded the session, before visitors were allowed a hands-on look at the nptoolkit; creating and completing bespoke questionnaire and reporting on real-time data.
Visitors agreed that the event was useful, relevant and valuable to their organisations.
Places are still available for forthcoming events at both Leeds (3rd Dec) and London (9th Dec). To book your place, follow this link: www.BTGlobalEvents.com/events/NationalPaediatricToolkit
